The Sisterhood Community is a members based group for Black and racialized women that includes in-person & virtual discussions on social and health topics, a monthly virtual drop-in, and a private members group chat.

The virtual gatherings (4 per year) will provide safer spaces to explore these topics without judgement. Sessions will be moderated by Naïka Thomas or in partnership with a guest expert to facilitate meaningful learnings and conversations.

The in-person meetups (4 per year) will take place in Ottawa throughout the year. These informal gatherings offer members a chance to connect, learn about one another, and deepen their relationships.

The monthly drop-ins is a grounding space where members can come together to check in, hold space, and support one another.

There’s no set agenda—just a gentle invitation to show up as you are and share what’s on your heart or mind.

This community is for Black and racialized women and gender diverse folks.

Operating this community comes with costs — including website hosting, Zoom platform fees, and payment processing charges.

A considerable amount of time, effort, and Black labor has gone into developing QueensConnected events and the Sisterhood Community. One of our core values is the equitable compensation of Black and racialized labor — a principle that remains far from reality in society and many workplaces.

That said, we do not want finances to be a barrier to participation. Payment plan options are available above, or you can reach out to queensconnected@gmail.com to access the Pay What You Can option for the Sisterhood Community or in-person events.

Monthly Membership (Elite & Legacy Leadership Circle Only)

Monthly memberships are available exclusively for members joining the Elite or Legacy Leadership Circle tiers and are designed to offer greater flexibility while still supporting ongoing connection and engagement within the Sisterhood.

This option allows members to participate in mentorship, conversations, gatherings, and community experiences on a month-to-month basis without committing to a full year upfront.

Monthly memberships renew automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Quarterly Membership

Quarterly membership provides access to the Sisterhood for three months at a time, allowing members to participate in conversations, gatherings, and community experiences throughout the season.

This option is ideal for women who would like to experience the Sisterhood before committing to a full year.

Quarterly memberships renew every three months unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Semi-Yearly Membership (Legacy Leadership Circle Only)

Semi-yearly membership provides access to the Sisterhood for six months at a time and is available exclusively for members the Legacy Leadership Circle tiers.

This option is ideal for women who are seeking a deeper level of connection, mentorship, and community support while preferring a shorter commitment than a full yearly membership.

Members benefit from consistent engagement, relationship-building, and access to gatherings, conversations, and mentorship opportunities throughout the six-month period.

Semi-yearly memberships renew every six months unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Yearly membership offers the full Sisterhood experience for the year and provides the best overall value.
